PENDA POINTS PROGRAM

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Penda Points Program, our way of rewarding patients for their continuous support and patronage.

Through the Penda Points Program, patients can earn points for every visit or telemedicine consultation at any of our 19 branches or via Pigia Penda, our telemedicine division. Patients can then redeem their Penda points for various rewards, such as discounts on future visits and more.

We officially launched the program on February 14th, which coincidentally marks Penda Health's birthday. It's our gift to our patients for their unwavering trust and loyalty in our services.

To start earning points, simply sign up for the Penda Points Program at any of our branches or through Pigia Penda. Your Penda Points will be automatically credited to your account after every visit or consultation.

Q: What is the Penda Points program?

A: The Penda Points program is a rewards program offered by Penda Health. You can earn points for various activities, such as consulting with our providers, buying drugs over the counter, getting a lab self-request, or accessing and paying for any service in cash. You can then redeem these points for discounts and special offers. The services for which you can redeem points and receive discounts & offers may vary in the program's course.

Q: How do I join the Penda Points program?

A: Joining the Penda Points program is easy! You can sign up at the front desk of our facility or simply Chat na Penda on 254207640471 by sending the word Points. You will need to provide some basic information, such as your name and contact information.

Q: How can I enroll a child/minor into the Penda Points program?

A: Enrolling minors is easy! You can enroll them at the front desk of our facility, make the staff aware that the person you are enrolling is a minor or simply Chat na Penda on 254207640471 by sending the word Points. You will need to provide some basic information, such as your name and contact information. Make sure that the information you provide is for the minor you are enrolling.

Q: How do I earn points?

A: You earn Penda Points any time you pay for healthcare at Penda:

  • General consultation with our providers.

  • Lab self-request visits.

  • Pharmacy self-requests (buying drugs over the counter).

  • Specialist/Physician consultation visits.

  • Virtual consultations via Pigia Penda.

  • Drug purchases via Pigia Penda.

Any purchases made with Penda earn you Penda Points.

Q: How much is a point in cash (Kenya shilling)?

A: One Penda Point is equivalent to one Kenyan Shilling. This means that, for example, if you have four hundred points, you can use them to pay for goods or services worth four hundred Kenyan Shillings.

Q: How do I redeem my points?

A: You can spend your Penda Points like cash at our pharmacy. All you have to do is notify our staff at the point of billing that you’d like to redeem your points.  Points can only be redeemed for pharmacy purchases. You can then redeem these points for discounts and special offers. The services you can redeem points, receive discounts and offers may vary in the course of the program.

Q: How do I check my Penda points balance?

A: Chat na Penda via WhatsApp on +254207640471, and enquire about your Penda Points balance. You can as well enquire at the front desk in any of our medical centers.

Q: Are there any exclusions or restrictions to the Penda Points program?

A: Yes, the Penda points program has some exclusions and restrictions. Insurance or corporate visits are not eligible for Points, and some promotions and discounts may not be combined with the Penda Points program.

Q: Is the Penda Points program free to join?

A: Yes, the Penda Points program is free to join, and in fact, you get 50 free points when you join!

Q: Is my personal information safe?

A: Yes, we take the privacy and security of our patient’s information very seriously. All personal information is kept confidential and used only for your medical care and the Penda Points program.

Q: How long do my points last?

A: Penda Points have an expiry of 2 years from the day the points were earned. It's important to redeem your points before they expire, otherwise, they will be forfeited.

Q: Can I transfer or give my points to someone else?

A: Is this a feature you’d be interested in? Do not worry, we are working on making this possible and you will be able to transfer your points to someone else. At the moment, you cannot transfer points.

Q: Can I use my Penda points towards my co-pays or deductibles?

A: No, you can not use your Penda points towards co-pays or deductibles. This is because of the complexities of insurance billing.

Q: Are there any special promotions or discounts for Penda Points program members?

A: Yes, there are often special promotions and discounts for Penda Points program members. These may include discounts on certain services or products and special offers on packages.

Q: Will I receive any communication or updates about the Penda Points program?

A: Yes, you will receive communication and updates about the Penda Points program through SMS and Chat na Penda on WhatsApp.  You can also enquire from a representative from any of our branches or Pigia Penda for updates.
