Is Penda Points free to join?
Yes. Joining is free, and you receive 50 welcome points when you enrol.
What is one Penda Point worth?
One Penda Point is worth one Kenyan shilling when redeemed on eligible goods or services.
How long do my points last?
Points expire two years after the date they are earned. Redeem them before they expire.
Can a child join Penda Points?
Yes. A parent or guardian can enrol a minor at a Penda Medical Center or through WhatsApp. Make sure the information supplied is for the child being enrolled.
Do insurance and corporate visits earn points?
No. Insurance and corporate visits are not eligible. Penda Points are for eligible self-paying care and cannot be used toward co-pays or deductibles.
Can I earn points by referring a new patient?
Yes. You can receive 100 Penda Points when a new patient you refer spends at least KSh 500 at Penda. Ask the Penda team to make sure the referral is recorded correctly.
Can I transfer my points?
Not at the moment. Penda Points cannot currently be transferred to another person.
