Walk in at any hour. The team will help you start in the right place.

Come as you are

Every Penda Medical Center welcomes walk-ins 24/7. Bring an ID. If you plan to use SHA or insurance, have your membership details ready and confirm your current cover eligibility with the central WhatsApp team before travelling. Recent prescriptions, medicine packets or test results can help, but do not delay care because you cannot find every document.

Tell the story in your own words

You do not need to diagnose yourself or choose the correct service from a long menu. Tell the provider what changed, when it began and what worries you most. They will ask the details that matter, check vital signs and examine you when needed.

Tests should answer a question

A test may be recommended when it helps confirm a diagnosis, choose treatment or rule out something important. Ask what the test is for, what it costs and how the result will affect the plan. You should understand why it is being done.

Leave knowing what happens next

Before you go, the team should explain treatment, medicines, warning signs and follow-up. Ask any question that is still sitting in your mind. Your health plan should make sense after you leave the room—not only while the clinician is speaking.
